Shorewood High School has given the world an example of having fun with creativity. The school is in Shoreline, Washington. The students in this school spent two and a half weeks making a video that has skyrocketed on the scene. The video has already been viewed over 790,000 times.
I heard about the school and video the other day on Rachael Ray’s Daytime Talk Show. I missed seeing the video, but I heard the interview with teacher, Marty Ballew, and director, Javier Caceres. Javier is a senior.
I wanted to see the video but never seemed to remember to look it up when I had access to the internet. Yesterday I finally got to watch. I was impressed, to put it mildly.
You can tell the whole student body was involved in this creative experience. You can tell this school has innovative thinkers, supportive administration, faculty, and staff. You can tell there is school spirit. How refreshing to see young people working together as a group in something creative.
I had to share this video with you. I hope it makes you smile. I hope it makes you proud. I hope it inspires you to have fun with your creativity. Can you believe these kids learned how to lip sync backwards?
