Creativity Devotional – Gifts

“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God.  If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.  To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.”

I Peter 4:10

Do you know what your gifts are?  Have you really thought about the specific and unique talents God has blessed you with?  Are you using those talents and the strength God provides?  Only you can answer those questions.

As you spend this weekend celebrating Easter, take some time to think about the scripture above.  Contemplate how you can serve the Lord through your talents.  Look into your heart for answers.  Pray for a spiritual connection and closeness with God that surpasses anything you have experienced before. May God bless you and your family.

You have blessed us in so many ways. Thank you. Thank you for Your love. Thank You for sending Your Son to die for our sins so that we might have eternal salvation. Thank you for Your Word that will stand forever.

Lord, we want so badly to do thy will, to use our creative talents for good and service. Help us to recognize ways to do just that. Lead us on our creative journey. Strengthen and comfort us if we meet obstacles on our way. Fill us with thy spirit. We love you always.

In Christ’s name. Amen
