Creativity Affirmations – Help me make a list.

Have you searched Google or any other search engine for “Creativity Affirmations”?  I did the other day.  There was an incredible list of websites dealing with that subject. Some sites posted  an affirmation every day. Some web sites required you become a member or give an email address in order to see the affirmations.  I found some blogs that are no longer being updated that had posts with creativity affirmations.

So, why was I searching for creativity affirmations?  Well, first of all, creativity affirmations can inspire the artist in you.  They can give you a daily dose of uplifting thought. The affirmations can be used as an artist’s tool. Secondly, I was searching because I want to compile a list of these affirmations. I want to make this list available for my readers.  I want my readers to be able to print out this list of creativity affirmations.

What do you do with the list when it is printed?  You take the printed affirmations and cut them into individual slips of paper, so that each affirmation is separate.  Then you fold the slips of paper and place them in a box, vase, basket, whatever. Each morning as you start your day, you pull out a creativity affirmation and read it.  I  imagine that many of you have morning activities such as reading a devotional, writing in a journal, praying or doing meditation. Reading one creativity affirmation in the morning could be a good addition to your morning practice. It only takes a matter of a few seconds once the affirmations are folded and in place.

The creativity affirmations can help you stay positive or focused.  I like repeating the creativity affirmation as my mantra for the day. If I begin to feel discouraged, I pull the mantra out and repeat it. The little slip of paper can be stuck in your purse, pocket, or as a bookmark.  The slips of paper can also be read and then thrown away. Or you can put the affirmation back in the pot to be pulled out again later. I like to pull mine out and place them in another basket. When I run out of slips of paper, in the one basket, I start over in the other. That way you don’t keep pulling out the same affirmations.

So, what do I want from you?  I want you to help me make the list of creativity affirmations. I think the list will be more meaningful coming from my readers. So, I would like you to send me your favorite creativity affirmations via email or comments. If the affirmation is a quote, I would also like to know the source. My goal is a list of 365 creativity affirmations. Can you guys help me out?  Anyone that sends me a creativity affirmation will receive the list for free, so be sure to include your email address with your affirmations.  Later I will make the list available for download at a minimal price.

Not sure what I am looking for?  Here is an example:

“Creativity flows through me with abundance.”

“I am an incredibly creative being supported by God.”

“I possess the ability to see the world in a way that needs to be shared through the action of creating.”

“I am blessed with the gift of creativity today and always.”

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog and read my articles. It means a great deal to me. I feel I am blessed by you.
